Hopscotch Granny Hex Doily
This is a derivative pattern from my Peek-a-boo Granny Square pattern. Shapes have always been a focal point of design for me, and here’s presenting my Hex version!
This doily/ motif measures 8” in diameter if the yarn, gauge and instructions are followed precisely.
This however is a GENERIC pattern that can be extended to make a bigger piece or make smaller ones varying the yarn and hook sizes to make Placemats, Coasters, or motifs to join with a regular Granny Hex.
This Granny Hex is not only one that can be sized as per requirement by easily adapting increases, but can also be used as Single motifs to join for a bigger project. Gauge is not necessary as this can be worked with any yarn and hook size. The final size varies with the materials used.
