Dry Wit Botanical Beard & Hair Oil

When using a dime-sized amount, a 1-ounce bottle will last 1-2 months if used daily.

BEARD OIL

Use daily or as needed.

Cleanse face and beard. Towel dry your beard but leave it slightly damp. Start by massaging 1 pump of serum onto fae and hair roots. Work across the grain and with the grain to ensure full coverage. Brush your fingers along the sides and front of your beard. Finally, from the bottom, bring fingers up & through your beard.

SCALP TREATMENT

Massage a two pumps of serum onto your scalp and hair roots. Exert some pressure to aid circulation. Move your fingers in different directions and in circular motions. Add more serum, as necessary to ensure full coverage. Leave in overnight and wash as normal the next morning.

SEALANT / STYLING AID (& HAIR FRAGRANCE)

Tame frizz and fly-aways by applying to dry hair. Seal in moisture by applying to damp hair.

Put one pump of serum (a pea-sized amount) on the palms of your hands and rub for a few seconds to warm and evenly distribute the oil. Lightly brush your palms over the top of your hair and run fingers through your hair. Rub remaining oil on the ends.

You can finish with a low-heat blow out for smooth, shiny hair.

PRE-SHAMPOO / OVERNIGHT 

Use once per week to recover from split ends and to strengthen your hair.

Put two pumps of serum in your palms and rub together to lightly warm the oil. Grab a small section of hair and run the lower portion through your hand to coat with oil. Apply more serum in small amounts until all ends of your hair have been coated. (No need to saturate.) Leave in for 1 or more hours or overnight, then wash and condition as normal. (You may need to wash twice or use a clarifying shampoo.)

Avoid use before bedtime because some ingredients are stimulants. Some ingredients are considered phototoxic. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight for 12 hours after use. Consult your doctor prior to use if you have epilepsy or any other seizure disorder, are pregnant, have a chronic medical condition, or use any prescription medication.

This product is for external use only. Do not ingest. Spot test prior to using. Avoid applying near the eyes. Use only the advised amount. Discontinue use should you have an adverse reaction or if there is a noticeable change to the color, texture, or aroma. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

STORING YOUR OIL

​To prolong the life of your product and prevent oxidation or bacterial growth, keep the top firmly closed and store your bottle out of direct sunlight and away from heat and moisture.

RECYCLABLE POUCH

This aluminum pouch is leak-proof, non-toxic/food safe, and recyclable. It's compleely opaque, so will extend the life of your product. It is equipped with a pour spout making it easy to transfer the product to a bottle. Always make sure to tightly close the cap to prevent contamination.

Reduce your environmental impact by re-using your bottle (order refills in the recyclable pouch.) The bottle (not the top) can be washed in the dishwasher, but I recommend washing by hand.

Because my products are hand-crafted in small batches, it can take 2-3 days to prepare your order.  There can be additional delays if I am waiting on shipments from my suppliers.

I use USPS to ship to the contiguous 48 states, Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada. For U.S. orders up to $30, a $4 shipping fee is added to your total at checkout. Shipping is free for U.S. orders over $30. Canadian orders will have the full cost of shipping calculated at checkout. 

In my efforts to find innovative solutions to decrease our environmental impact, I do not use plastic or paper packing materials. Rather, your items are wrapped in hand-made organic cotton Turkish Peshtamel face towels.

For environmental reasons, packing slips will not be shipped with any order. A copy of your order will be emailed to you, which you can use in lieu of a packing slip.
