Written in UK crochet terms with a handy conversion table for US crochet terms.

The instructions contain 2 pattern options.

The first is really simple combination of UK double crochet (US single crochet) and UK treble stitches (US double treble) and the second introduces as new stitch (’V’ stitch).

The Mustard shawl in the image is option 2.

Both designs are a shallow ‘V’ shape, which is great for tucking in under your coat or wearing every day.

You can use a single colour, or choose a variegate hand-dyed yarn for a great effect.

For best results, block before wearing and don’t forget to add a little pompom or tassel to the ends, to complete your shawl.

You could also use the pattern with double knitting yarn - I would estimate that you would need around 150g (perfect for a yarn cake).

You are purchasing the pattern only, which is available as a download once you have paid.

As with all my projects, it's a perfect stash buster for a 100g ball or skein of yarn, so

enjoy having a mooch in your stash to see what you can find.
