This Independent Contractor Agreement has been drafted to allow for use with most types of independent contractors. The statement of work should be used to define the scope of services that the specific independent contractor is to provide. However, before using this agreement, you should ensure that the individual or entity you are hiring falls into the classification of an “independent contractor” under the law.
