Messier 31, also known as the Andromeda Galaxy, is the largest and closest galaxy to the Milky Way, and is the most popular galaxy to photograph. It is located in the constellation Andromeda, approximately 2.45 million light-years away from Earth.

 

This raw astrophotography dataset was captured from our telescope under Bortle 4 skies. It totals 6.5 hours of integration time, and is a great target to process for beginners.
