SUMMARY
 
The situation in November 2022 has improved, but the recovery signal is uncertain. Specifically, production output increased again, reaching 10.5 million tons (up 5% over the same period last year and up 10.7% over the previous month). Export volume continued to be low (down 41% over the same period last year), although there was an improvement over the previous month. In October, domestic consumption volume improved compared to the previous month (up 16.1%).

Accumulated 11M/2022, production output increased better than consumption, so inventory pressure is still very large. Exports fell 31.1% year-on-year. Domestic consumption of the whole industry was almost flat compared to the same period last year. Except, a few large cement brands in the South have outperformed the industry average such as Ha Tien and Siam City Cement in the South.
