SUMMARY
 
In Q3/2022, the total deposit volume of the whole system reached  70.95 billion kWh, almost flat compared to the previous quarter but increased by 10.8% compared to the previous year,
due to the same period last year, the country's electricity demand decreased during the time of social distancing. In which,  hydroelectricity continued to increase strongly in Q3, and was the most positive in the whole system thanks to abundant rainfall (up 30.9% over the previous year and continued to be 6% higher than the plan).
 
Coal-fired thermal power output in Q3 continued to decrease by 11%-15% compared to Q2 and over the same period in 2021. Electricity and gas increased strongly compared to the same period last year but still decreased by about 13.6% compared to Q2 and lower than the plan. Renewable power after a period of unplanned heating in the previous 2 years, the electricity output mobilized from renewable energy sources began to slow down, and almost closely followed the Ministry of Industry and Trade's early-year plan, increasing only 5.9% compared to the third quarter of last year.
