Ukrainian Armed Forces in the UN missions, 1994-2021 is a study of an ex-soviet army placed on missions side by side with NATO partners. Ukrainian contributions to the United Nations can be traced to the first mission in ex-Yugoslavia and the modern conflicts. Ukraine has sent tens of thousands of soldiers and officers to international peacekeeping missions. In this book, it will be explained in detail how these missions went for the Ukrainian contingent.

It features the uniform, gear, and insignia of the troops, just like the rest of the books in our series. New equipment had to be designed for every mission due to the variety of operational regions.

The results provide plenty of material for researchers and collectors.

The book splits into separate chapters, each one representing a peacekeeping mission:

  • UNPROFOR
  •  IFOR/SFOR
  • MONUA
  • KFOR
  • Mission in Kongo
  • UNAMSIL
  • UNIFIL
  • Mission in Iraq
  • ISAF
