Bheemal and nettle are by-products of the regional forests of Uttrakhand
Harvested by women's self-help groups utilizing a natural waste product and reduce the risk of forest fires
Jute is sourced from the jute field in the rivers running into the Bay of Bengal
Hemp is sourced from the mountain range areas of Uttrakhand

Production
Hand-made by women and low-income people in the foothills of the Himalayas
Bheemal is hand-weaved into mats and curtains and other products with a padding
Nettle is hand-weaved into a fabric to use for various home interior products
Hemp is hand-weaved into a fabric and tailored into products
Jute is stitched into shopping bags, file folders and other utility products
 
Environmental Impact
By focusing on using local raw materials reduces the carbon footprint of all products from the beginning.
