In the Victorian language of flowers, the Apple Blossom meant "Preference".

This lovely floral lady was created as part of my Bloom Where You're Planted Oracle Series.

Apples represent a varied and complex history in the mythologies of the world. In Norse myth, apples are credited with bestowing immortality upon the gods. In many religious traditions, apples are mysterious or forbidden, such as the apples in the Garden of Eden.

In Greek myth, golden apples lead to discontentment and strife, leading in time to the outbreak of the Trojan War.

To the Victorians, though, the apple blossom represented choice. Before you are many paths, which do you take? What do you choose?

You possess free will so the future is never decided for you. You don't have a predetermined fate or destiny. You can choose. To which goddess would you give the apple? Would you listen to the snake and take a bite of that glistening delicious fruit?

The choice is always yours. Some decisions are harder than others so think long and hard over your preferences. Actions have consequences so make sure that you can live with the choices that you make.

Don't allow others to try to manipulate or control you. Live the life that you want. Your preferences are, in the end, yours.
