The King is the fourth and final court card in the suit of Wands. He brings a more mature masculine energy; someone established and paternal. Wands are the element of fire: ambition and passion; ferocity and anger.
 
The King of Wands appears in different guises in different decks but always he carries with him his air of authority. He is passionate about his ideas and plans, but he does not act them out himself. He delegates the nuts and bolts to those that follow him.
 
He burns with a fiery energy that draws people to him. His enthusiasm is contagious. Others will gladly follow his lead and his dictates.
 
Chart a court with confidence; not with impulsiveness. He will inspire those around him to be brave and more courageous in their choices.
