With the Yellow Chrysanthemum, you are feeling hurt and disappointed. You feel betrayed by the cutting words and actions of another. They've damaged your heart with their cruelty and left you feeling stunned, sad, and broken.
 
Express your grief. Processing the pain is an important part of the cleansing process. Really allow yourself time to experience and work through all these emotions. Repressing them may feel like the stoic thing to do, but the trauma remains, just waiting to rise up at the worst possible moments.
 
Don't put on a brave face. Don't pretend that nothing has gone wrong. You were hurt. You were betrayed. You are allowed to grieve. Give in to the process and follow it through until you feel emptied of all the pain.
 
Then you may move forward. Don't wallow but release the pain back into the void and refill your sacred well with love and peace.
 
Pain is an inevitable part of life, but we cannot allow it to consume us. Rather pain gives us the perspective to see the good, to see the kind, to see the compassionate, to truly relish the love that is out there in the world.
 
Processing and surviving this pain makes you stronger. It helps you evolve in compassionate ways, to learn to be more open and loving with others. They too have suffered and we can work together to heal and better our lives.
