Sun is made from natural, organic ingredients.
It can help with rosacea, rashes or damaged skin.
It has been known to moisturise and protect your skin from some of the not so gorgeous things the sun does.

It contains organic shea, mango, & cocoa butters along with organic oils of jojoba, hemp seed, & Kawakawa infused olive. And let's not forget meadowfoam! Geez. Lavender essential oil is included to help with skin repair.
 
It contains non-nano zinc which won't be absorbed by the skin. It sits on the skin, doing its thing.
 
This cream came about when my daughter, a PADI scuba instructor, learned about the damage regular sunblock did to the ocean and its critters.

"Mum," she said, "I need a safe sunscreen."
While this has no laboratory verification, as a family we have used it for our own purposes whilst scuba diving in Niue, Roratonga & Fiji and when travelling in Australia, Canada & Europe.

Due to a change in regulations regarding calling a product sunscreen, our Sun will remain a beautiful Sun Defense Cream that helps with rosacea. When The Nerd wins the lottery, it will go to Dermatest for appropriate testing.

Do a small patch test before using.
Keep away from your eyes.
 
If you don't want to use a natural suncreen, please find one that contains no oxybenzone, It kills coral reefs, poisons fish & sea turtles.
Goodness knows what it does to our children.
 
From The Guardian (28 April, 2017): "Regional offices of the National Park Services, including in Hawaii, the Virgin Islands and south Florida, advise swimmers use sunscreens made with zinc oxide or titanium oxide, which biodegrade, and several Mexican preserves require visitors to use biodegradable sunscreens. Downs said that consumers should take extra care not to use sunscreens advertising “nano” zinc oxide or titanium oxide, saying that below 120 or just 100 nanometers is “significantly toxic”.
(In other words non-nano zinc is what you're looking for.)
