The SALTWATER linen romper combines playfulness with the comfort, practicality, and versatility of a 2-piece set. This romper is composed of two separate pieces (a shirt and a pair of shorts), because we understand you might want to mix and match, be able to use the restroom without having to get completely nude (we've all been there), and you might have a top size different than your bottoms. So wear them separately, together, to the beach, out to lunch, or even as pajamas. Made for all bodies and all types of humans.

Custom Sizing:
All of our clothing is sewn to your custom measurements. Please consult our sizing guidelines. We will ask at checkout for any relevant measurements we may need.
 
Unless you indicate in the notes that you would prefer otherwise, all inseams will be 7" long (from the crotch to bottom of ruffle). This long inseam is designed to give you a confident feeling of complete crotch and butt coverage while staying cute! The shorts are mid-rise, likely falling an inch or two below your belly button. We designed the shirt to be slightly oversized, and the shorts to hug your tush.

Plant-dyed: 
Your piece will be dyed by hand using pigments from plants, in any of our current offerings that you choose (see 2nd photo). 
 
**Please note: The romper photo'd in blue was dyed with a color that is no longer offered (black bean blue). The new indigo blue will be a slightly brighter and bolder blue, as captured in the color swatch photo.

The Fabric: 100% washed linen, medium weight. 
We love linen because of its strength and durability. Linen is considered to be the strongest of all-natural fibers, and gets stronger and softer with washes! We also love it for its low environmental impact, breathability, comfort, and versatility. 
 
The fabric is very breathable but is still rather opaque (not see-through), so we find the top to be perfectly breezy and freeing to wear with or without a bra. 
 
The Sewing:
This piece is sustainably constructed in our home studio. All inner seams are finished, meaning they are prepared to outlive the most active lifestyles.
 
We believe the garments you love should outlive you. So, we include a complimentary mending kit with every order, which contains matching scrap fabric, matching thread, a sewing needle, and a guide to visible mending. Repair is noble!
