COLBO - Iconic and celebrated Argentine design from Mendoza

In the early 1950s, the architect and ceramist Colette Boccara created unique enamel stoneware pieces in Mendoza, with a strong local identity; this ceramic is made with red clay extracted from The Andes Mountains. Today - with the same passion for detail, material and quality - COLBO offers professionals and lovers of good food a vibrant collection of tableware. 

COLBO plates are handcrafted in Argentina from red porcelain and vitreous enamel coating (glass-like coating), which guarantees a high degree of hardness, perfect for tableware and food safe.

All Colbo plates and bowls are watertight as they are glazed internally. They can be used to serve hot and cold dishes, they are oven-safe, microwave safe and dishwasher-safe. Avoid thermal shock which may damage or crack your plate. Place the hot item over wood, cork or cloth and let it cool naturally.

Minimum irregularities in colour, glaze and surface are a result of handmade work.

Use a soft cloth or non-abrasive utensil for cleaning and drying to avoid scratching and maintain the glaze integrity.
