Old Glory is one of the few pieces in this new line up sporting red, white, and blue (inspired by US Independence Day). I was feeling daring so she and her other sibling ended up in the wood firing. I didn't think of the irony of Old Glory going through the flames and coming out stronger and more beautiful in the end. But now it's some fuel for thought
