This handmade necklace features healing crystal beads of Iolite, Hematite and Obsidian.  The focal of the necklace is an Obsidian star pendant (25mm).  Obsidian has a protected energy that shields us from negativity in all forms.  It helps keep us grounded so that we can continue our journey and transform into our highest self!  We attached the pendant to 1" of Stainless-Steel chain.  Next, we added Faceted Iolite Energy Prisms (5x6mm).  (*See below for more information on energy prisms) A highly spiritual stone connected to the Third Eye, Iolite is a stone of vision that heightens intuition and insight helping us discern between our higher self and our ego. When Iolite contacts the Auric field, it gives off an electrical charge to reenergize the Aura and align the Chakras and subtle bodies.  Iolite commonly demonstrates pleochroism meaning it can appear as many different colors depending on the angle of the light.  While the beads may look dark in the photo above, under different light they will appear in multiple shades of blue, periwinkle and purple.  Alongside the Iolite are matte silver electroplated Hematite beads (3mm).  A very supportive stone for women, Hematite boosts self-esteem, invigorates willpower and radiates confidence, while removing self-imposed limitations and doubt.  Hematite is a protective stone that eliminates negativity from our Aura returning us to a harmonious state.  We finished the necklace with additional Stainless-Steel chain and a lobster clasp closure.  As pictured, the necklace measures 18", but other lengths are available.  This necklace will be delivered on our signature necklace tag, in a custom handcrafted box. 
 
The original manufacture of Energy Prisms, Dakota Stones, offers a brief description of the process as well as why they are names Energy Prisms:
This shape starts with a round bead that then undergoes a multi-step diamond faceting process. First, the entire bead is faceted. Then a step-cut is made around the center of the bead creating double terminated points. This cut was first coined as “Energy Tube” because it is thought that a crystal or rock with double terminated points allows energy to flow freely from both sides. The term “Prism” was added later to better describe how the geometric cut bounces and refracts light from it’s faceted surfaces.
