FEBRUARY 19 & 20 Take a walk throughout the Historic District with your official voucher and souvenir mug. Participating shops and businesses will hand out free goodies, sweets, treats, beverages, trinkets, novelties and special discounts.

About the event
The Mug Walk returns this winter in the Historic District of Jim Thorpe. Join us for the Mug Walk this President’s Day weekend, February 19th & 20th, 2022. This fun, family-friendly event begins at the Mauch Chunk Opera House (14 W Broadway, Jim Thorpe) where you will pick up your official souvenir Jim Thorpe Mug, participant list, voucher and map. Show your voucher at our unique participating shops, and receive sweets, treats, novelties and special discounts. NEW this year is the opportunity to complete your Mug Walk over BOTH Saturday and Sunday. Relax and enjoy an entire additional day to visit the participating businesses! Or, purchase two or more trails and enjoy even more fun each day!
IMPORTANT NOTE: ALL of these businesses will NOT be on EACH trail. We will soon announce which businesses are on which trail. However, there is no wrong trail to pick, as we are fair across trails–giving our ticket holders the best possible value and experience!

- Tickets, mugs or vouchers will NOT be shipped. Bring your receipt (paper or digital) to the Mauch Chunk Opera House (14 W Broadway Jim Thorpe) . Pickup times are 11a-3p on February 19 and 11a-1p on February 20.
- Advance pickup of mugs or tickets will NOT be allowed.
- Partial refund for COVID will ONLY be considered with a government-mandated shutdown.
- There will be no alternative dates due to inclement weather.
