Meet Your Neighbour 50th Anniversary Celebration & Bayou Park Regatta

BPRA Members, come out to socialize with neighbours & celebrate the 50th anniversary of the BPRA with us! 

Take part in a friendly little boating competition with your neighbours at Bayou Park’s first Regatta! Adults and kids, show off your canoe & kayak paddling skills and test out your sea-worthiness in our cardboard boat race! We need both participants and a good sized crowd to cheer them on! Participants must bring their own boats. Limited in-park and road-side parking available (please don't block mailboxes or driveways). 

Events will include*:

Cardboard Boat Race (teams of 3-4 people & all ages) (Please make your boat at home and bring it to the regatta!)

Adults Canoe & Kayak Race (teams of 1-2 people & 18+yrs)

Youth Canoe & Kayak Race (teams of 1-2 people & 12-18 yrs)

Kids Canoe Race (teams of 2-3 people & 5-11yrs)

Kids Kayak Race (teams of 1-2 people & 4-11 yrs)

*Subject to registration numbers.

We will also have events for the littlest kids, including beach toys, a bubble machine, and so much more!

Lunch will be catered by member & local business owner Erica Lomonaco of Lakeside Charcuterie. Check out her Instagram!

The menu will include:

Graze Table Charcuterie

-Meat, Cheeses, Cut Veggies, Fresh Fruit, Various Crackers, Pickles, Olives, Jellies, Homemade Tzatziki and Hummus!

Mains

-Sandwiches - Egg Salad, Turkey Pesto Pinwheels, Ham, Roast Beef & Mustard, Cucumber, and Jam

-Greek Pasta Salad

-Homemade Caesar Salad

Dessert

-Strawberry Shortcake Cups

-Chocolate Brownie Pudding Cups
