Donkey Day - Volunteer Day

Join us for a day of celebration dedicated to our beloved donkeys at Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary! We invite you to be a part of our Volunteer Day, where we'll embark on a series of activities aimed at caring for and spending time with our wonderful donkey residents.

Our Volunteer Day will be filled with hands-on activities and opportunities to connect with our donkeys in a meaningful way. From grooming and feeding to spending quality time in their company, you'll have the chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of these incredible animals.

Please note that due to limited capacity, we will be capping the number of volunteers for the day. If you're interested in joining us, be sure to reserve your spot early to secure your place. Attendees have the option to attend the full day 10:30am until 3:30pm or do a half day; either Morning - 10:30am until 1pm or Afternoon - 1pm until 3:30pm. All attendees must be over the age of 16 at time of attending or else be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We cannot allow attendees under the age of 6 for this day.

Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or new to the sanctuary, everyone is welcome to join us for this special event. Come prepared to roll up your sleeves, get your hands dirty, and experience the joy of working alongside our dedicated staff and fellow animal lovers.
