About the event

Considered the "cradle of winemaking," Georgia has been producing wine for over 8,000 years. Over its long history, politics and culture have shaped this ancient wine country into what it is today. It continues to reinvent and redefine itself with each vintage through the use of ancient and modern winemaking techniques applied to indigenous and international grape varieties.

Join Victoria Daskal DipWSET for her second overview of Georgian gems across indigenous varietals, "European" and "Traditional Georgian" winemaking processes and a range of styles from sparkling Pet Nat, textured Amber from Qvevri, full bodied rosé, to vibrant juicy reds. We will discuss and taste the distinctive varieties, producers, wine regions, and styles that make Georgia so exciting today.
