The Tsog Offering Puja is specially held to celebrate Lama's birthday on 8th March which coincides with the auspicious Losar, Tibetan new year.

A Tsog offering is one of the most effective methods to invoke the blessings of our Teachers, and all Buddha’s, to shower blessings upon us so positive conditions for our dharma practice may arise and temporal and ultimate goals may be accomplished swiftly. 

This special method of Guru Puja clears out obstacles and overcomes lack (financial, mental and spiritual), inviting generosity and prosperity by the prayers and blessings of our teachers.

The Tsog Offering Puja has been requested and sponsored by a sangha member who wishes to others to co-sponsor this Tsog Offering Puja, to share the merits and blessings of this joyous occasion and to express our appreciation for Lama's continuous support.

Your sponsorship contribution will cover the offerings for Buddha, the offerings for the Monks and Nuns and the food offerings for the sangha.

On the Tsog Puja day :

• The centre will prepare various offerings (flowers, incense, fruit, butter lamps etc), Torma and Tsog for Buddha and food offerings ( fruit, cakes, biscuits, sweets, nuts, ect)
• All sangha members are invited to attend (please bring a plate of food to share - if you can )
• The monks and nuns will recite the Guru Yoga sadhana and preform the Tsog Offering rituals. Offerings will be presented to them on behalf of the sponsors.
• At the conclusion of the puja, the attending sangha will partake of the food offerings, and the leftover food will be packaged and given away to take home to enjoy with family and friends
• There will also be a Tibetan dinner after the event
