Gettysburg Battlefield Operations

I’ve literally had my ass kicked on too many battlefields - both in and out of uniform. These battles have impacted my well-being, my family, my finances and my legacy. And no matter how hard I pray and hope against another battle - I know another one is coming. I am proudly a son of God which makes me an enemy of Satan. Satan has his bullseyes on me and wants to kill or destroy me and those I hold dear.

Our foe is relentless, therefore I cannot put down my guard. Though created for Victory I must hone my skills, and am called to do that amongst men who will fight alongside me. My age, spiritual maturity, theological education, titles are the very signs the enemy is tracking to take me out. I need someone on my six, my wingman, helping me accomplish my mission. How about you: are you discipling other men? Those wingman, those battle buddies are grown, not wished for. You too are created for Victory. Join with other brothers on 14 October at Gettysburg as we assemble around the campfire on Friday to prepare for the battles ahead and on Saturday for Operational Training for overcoming the enemy of our souls. You will participate in the training with other men – as life is not a spectator sport. And truth is - you can’t tap out when a ruthless enemy is set on your destruction - be it with your children, your testimony, your dreams, or your very family’s life! Now let’s address a couple things that you may already be saying; I’m good and don’t need this, I’m too busy, I don’t believe this hooey. First, if that really is you, keep reading, otherwise stop now and save your soul some wrestling, and thinking you can be counted on you in a fray.

1. You have never been called to a safe life as that does not exist. Go ahead and sit in your closet by yourself - chances are you won’t get hurt badly in defeat … as frankly you do not matter much.
2. I’m too busy! Dear God I can’t respect men who use that excuse. BUSY means “burdened under Satan’s yoke” - go ahead and claim that all day long. Again I’m personally not looking to you for much of anything -none the less pulling you into a fight. Busyness is not an admirable status, it’s a sign of failure and not success, and it disqualifies you as a productive disciple maker.
3. I’m not needed, capable, relevant- again all lies. You need to take the lid off of your expectations in life for yourself and those you influence. You can be powerful beyond measure when you align yourself obediently to God’s will for you and along fellow warriors. And it’s your life experience, your unique perspective that is going to create that “AHA” moment for another man.

So 14 October - whether the first time, or fifth time to operate with TJC; the battles must be addressed, you need refining, you need to bring your son or nephew. We ask men to register but provide scholarships and will accommodate you at any time, including joining us for just Saturday. If you have not noticed our communities and nation are already in civil conflict; while far different than 1863, this is our time to step up as spiritual warriors. Revival starts with you and me. I am royalty. I was made for war. Warriors like me were born, and strategically designed for the struggle. “To God be the glory”, I cry out to heaven. Discipline reigns. I want it too bad!
