Drink & Draw on August 16th

Calling all photographers, artists, designers, and writers! Join us for an enchanting evening of creativity and inspiration at our series of monthly LIGNES DE FUITE Drink & Draw events, hosted at  NOUVEL ÉTABLISSEMENT on August 16th.

Event Highlights:

The live drawing event, featuring the talented Dj Meen Moreen on the decks, will be curated by Tishanna Carnevale, the Fashion Editor of LIGNES DE FUITE Vol.3, along with her talented guest, Charlotte Deneux, an up-and-coming designer from Paris.

Meet Tishanna Carnevale

Tishanna Carnevale, a stylist and creative hailing from Mile End, brings a subversive approach to the portrayal of femininity. Her work challenges conventional norms by emancipating negative and stereotypical women's archetypes through hypersexuality, superficiality, and materialism. Casting plays a vital role in her design process, fostering a tribe that is bold, confident, and unapologetic. Tishanna is a fierce advocate for feminism and uses her hot designs to empower women as free-spirited badasses.

Meet Charlotte Deneux

Raised in Canada but inspired by her French roots, Charlotte Deneux draws inspiration from vintage undergarments, embracing a hyperfeminine aesthetic. Her designs expertly interplay decorative femininity with the complex sexuality of womanhood, challenging the denigration often associated with being a "girly girl." Her recent focus on creating porcelain fashion accessories demonstrates her artistic versatility and dedication to pushing creative boundaries.

Event Schedule

- 8:00 pm: Doors open, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the captivating ambiance of the venue.

- 9:00 pm - 10:30 pm: Participants will have the unique opportunity to photograph, draw, or describe the mesmerizing installation set up for the evening.

Artistic Showcase

At the conclusion of each LIGNES DE FUITE Drink & Draw event, we invite all guests to submit their artworks via our submission form. A carefully curated selection of the collected artworks will be handed over to the talented mixed media artist, Morhange. Morhange will work their magic, reinterpreting the pieces to create a stunning 24-page editorial that will be prominently featured in the upcoming LIGNE DE FUITE VOL.4.
