Join "Words of Advice," a LIGNES DE FUITE event where we explore the often-overlooked question: Why do young designers struggle to turn a profit? We aim to unravel this challenge in a casual setting, discussing tips to help emerging designers navigate the less glamorous side of serial production.

About the event
For this edition, we've got the talented designer duo UNTTLD (José St-Jacques and Simon Bélanger, in business since 2011) as well as Marie Lavergne and Arianne Michaud, pros with over 15 years of design, product development, and sourcing experience. They'll be answering your questions, and tackling hurdles in local and offshore production. We'd like to cover various aspects of product development, from pricing to sourcing, cutting and sewing, packaging, costing, and delivery. You have the opportunity to ask specific questions. If you would like your questions to be considered, please submit them through the Google form below. The conversation will be recorded, transcribed, and published as a "Words of Advice" article in our upcoming print edition.
