Police  repression rears its ugly head in Europe, attacking antifascist,  autonomous and anarchist structures while singling out individuals as  "leaders", threatening them with long term incarceration. Our  campaign is focused on raising awareness and funds for multiple  political comrades including Alfredo Cospito, Lina E and several  comrades who been arrested in the latest riots across France.

"Since  20 October 2022, Alfredo Cospito, a 55-year-old individualist  anarchist, imprisoned for years for various actions publicly claimed by  himself, has been on hunger strike against the 41 bis detention regime  and the life sentence to which he has been subjected for several months  now. This is not only a personal protest, but a political battle against  the 41 bis and life imprisonment in general, a battle that he declares  he wants to continue with different forms in case these provisions are  revoked and which, otherwise, will lead forward to the extreme  consequences. Alfredo Cospito is the first and only anarchist to whom  such prison measures have been applied in Italy. The documentary "Up to  the last breath" attempts to reconstruct the events for which Alfredo  Cospito, through his hunger strike, undertook, as an anarchist prisoner,  a battle against the Italian state whose disproportion of forces and  whose possible outcomes are evident to everyone, in the almost total  indifference of the Italian institutions." -------------------------------------------------------------

181  days since the start of his hunger strike, on April 19, Alfredo Cospito  announced the end of the strike. The previous day, the Constitutional  Court found the former decision to not recognize any mitigating factor  to be constitutionally illegitimate and ruled in favour of allowing the  reduction of his sentence. This decision can be something that  essentially will initiate the procedures that will remove Cospito from  the 41-bis regime.
