CLOSED - Color Guard Camp - Grades 7 - 12!
Get started early in the Marching Band with Color Guard Camp for Any Rising 7th - 12th Grader. Our Color Guard Camp is designed for Beginners or students with one or two years of experience. The Camp meets daily from 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM, Monday - Thursday, June 20 - 23, 2022 at FHS.

About the event
GET A HEAD START ON MARCHING BAND!
In this camp, open to any rising 7th - 12th Graders, campers will learn the basics of spinning flags and choreography. The use of advanced equipment such as rifles and sabers will be introduced as well. Campers will incorporate the fundamentals learned into a routine to be performed at the end of Camp on Thursday, June 24 at 12:00 pm for all Parents!
Your instructor for the week is Fauquier High School Color Guard Instructor Tori Oakley. There will also be special guests throughout the week.
FEE: $75 ea
What Does It Include?
The fee covers the costs of the Camp. Campers receive instruction, materials, and a Camp T-Shirt to wear at the Camp Performance, which is theirs to keep.
All fees are due by May 27, 2022.
A $10 late charge will be applied to all registrations and balances received after May 27, 2022.
REFUNDS:
If a refund is requested BY May 27, 2022, it will be granted, minus a $1.50 Administration Fee. No refunds will be issued after May 27, 2022. Please call 540-422-7300 X 1150 or e-mail director@fauquiermusic.net immediately if you wish to cancel. (Email is preferred).
A $30 fee will be charged for returned checks.
DISCLAIMER:
Participants in this camp should understand and be prepared for a great deal of physical activity. Color Guard involves spinning flags as well as dance and choreography. Students should be physically capable of performing these tasks. If you have any questions, please email director@fauquiermusic.net. We will do all we can to help.
