NEWSFLASH!!!  Due to the SELL OUT of residential tickets, Curious Creatives have been able to secure space at the venue for MOTORHOMES, CAMPERVANS and even TENTS (camping accommodation not supplied - guests must bring their own.  )

Tickets are now available to buy, but there are limited spaces.  All meal option includes breakfast, lunch and evening meal.  Two meal option includes lunch and evening meal.

Please note: Electric Hook-Up facilities are not available.

* Non-residential prices are also for guests wishing to secure their own accommodation and travel to the venue daily.  There are delightful places to stay in Kingham village as well as within the nearby towns of Chipping Norton, and Stow on the Wold.  A quick internet search of 'accommodation near Kingham' will bring up plenty to choose from.  At this moment in time, we are not affiliated with any accommodation venue and therefore cannot give recommendations.  

The evening meal is included with non-residential tickets, allowing guests to stay involved with the Retreat and participate in evening classes should they choose.

This amazing craft retreat will begin on Monday 15th July 2024 when you will arrive at the venue, meet your tutor and be guided to your accommodation (or parking/camping space). 

 

For the next three whole days you will be immersed into your chosen craft under the guidance of your tutor.  Course tutors have been specifically selected, not only for their skill level in their craft but also, for their teaching abilities and supportive guidance.

The ticket includes four nights of accommodation (with the residential option), daily freshly cooked meals, expert tutoring, and access to tools. Immerse yourself in the stunning Cotswolds landscape and connect with like-minded individuals who are likely to become friends!

Each day will consist of two 2.5hr teaching sessions with breaks in between for tea/coffee and lunch.  That's a total of 15 hours of expert tutoring!

In the evenings there are 'taster sessions' with other tutors that you can book on to (additional costs may apply).  These sessions allow you to sample a craft you may have never tried before.  Taster sessions will be announced and available for booking after the first evening meal on Monday (arrival day).

There is a bar on site serving hot drinks, soft drinks, and of course alcohol (for those that like to relax with a tipple or two).  This is usually where you'll also find the tutors relaxing!

Please note: Tutors will provide specialist tools but there may be an additional charge for materials.  You will receive a tools and supply list for your chosen course before the retreat.

On-site accommodation is in single, twin, and small dormitory-style bedrooms.  Bed linen is provided.  Bathrooms and toilets are shared among small groups of rooms along with common rooms and kitchen/snack rooms.  You will need to bring your own towels and toiletries.  Single & twin rooms are limited and there is a surcharge for this.  Be sure to select this option when purchasing your course ticket as availability cannot be guaranteed later.

Camping - there is NO Electric Hook-Up.  Toilet and shower facilities are available 24/7.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided in an informal communal setting with a cafeteria-style service.  Allergies and dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice (a dietary request form will be sent to you).

Also on site is a leisure facility including a 25m swimming pool and a fitness suite.  Access to this is at an additional cost so be sure to add this as a ticket option if it interests you.

Kingham Hill School is located near the village of Kingham in Oxfordshire and was founded in 1886.  The School's 100 acres of grounds include parkland, 30 acres of woodland, and 8 acres of pasture housing the school's horses, sheep, alpacas, pine martens, and goats. The School has invested in new facilities including a £4m Maths and Science building built in 2015, a new library completed in 2016 and a new £6M Sports Centre opened in January 2020.
