Join us for the most fun on roller skates, and skate in this beautiful and historic venue.  DJ Chambiere will be bringing his flavour to our skate party.  

Don't miss this event - Roller skate parties do not happen often at the Corn Exchange! 

For those that would like to dance there's even a 1 hr groove 'n' roll workshop before the event to introduce you to some dance moves so you can join in during the main event.  Led by our Lead Coach, Mel the class will show you moves inspired by some of our favourite roller dances and dancers.

Please note: you need to at least be able to stand , move forward and side step on skates to get the most out of this class! 

(If you aren't there yet, why not try our Sunday beginner class so that you are skate ready in time!)

Pricing and Timings

Dance workshop + disco - 7pm - 11.30pm  - £30 single / £105 for 4 participants + £3.50 skate hire pp(if required)

Disco only 8.30pm - 11.30pm -  £20 single / £68 for 4 participants + £3.50 skate hire pp(if required)

Very limited on-the-door tickets will be available, these will be £25 each + skate hire.  We suggest pre-booking to avoid disappointment to secure your skate size.

What happens at a roller skate party?

It is a roller disco, but at the Corn Exchange, it feels more like a party!

We will be skating on the ground floor wooden floor, so get your favourite sequinny garments and dust off your boots!  There will be a few small pizes for individuals and groups in the best halloween inspired threads too. 

Quad and inline skaters are welcome.  We have a small amount of space for accompanying non-skating partners.

Will skate hire be available?

Yes, you will be able to hire our roller skates. Please make sure you book a ticket and tell us the size you need. We have a limited number of stakes, so make sure that you book in advance and select the correct size as it's unlikely we'll have spares available on the night.  

We will have also protective pads available for you to borrow on a first come first served basis.

Terms and Conditions of booking:

*We will allow refunds if you change your mind up to 24 hours from the date of the event.  You must email us skate@rollergirlgang.co.uk and tell us you'd like to cancel your ticket.

*We will also allow you to privately sell on your ticket if you realise you are not able to attend.

*If you require hire skates you *must* book a separate skate hire ticket. We are expecting our skate hire to be fully booked.

*If we suspect you are intoxicated, we will not give you roller skates. If you have skates on, we will ask you to remove them. No refund will be given.

*The Corn Exchange is a beautiful historic venue. Please respect it!

*Absolutely NO SKATES on the stairs. The toilet facilities are located on the balcony level and you must remove roller skates before accessing them.

*Everyone will be required to sign a liability waiver on entry.

*The behaviour of one skater affects all other skaters in the space. Please make sure you are skating with consideration.  We do not tolerate selfish skating and we reserve the right to ask you to leave.  No refund will be given. Selfish skating in the Corn Exchange may include, but is not limited to: cutting up other skaters or forcing them to suddenly brake, weaving through a crowd, stopping or changing direction suddenly.
