Free Motion Quilting Workshop: From Basics to Beautiful

Is this workshop for me?

Any intermediate quilter or confident beginner who wants to learn Free Motion Quilting.

When is the workshop?

Saturday 29th July 2023, 10 -3

What will I learn?

You will learn how to set your machine up for FMQ, which thread is best to use, Stippling, Pebbling, how to create intricate patterns and much more!.

What do I need to bring to the workshop?

You will need:

• a supply of lovely fabric and wadding (full requirements will be sent out after you book on)
• your cutting equipment - rotary cutter, mat and ruler
• your own sewing machine, whose feed dogs can be dropped or covered, and manual
• a Free Motion Embroidery foot suitable for your machine (please ask if you need advice)
• your sewing kit - scissors, thread, bobbins, quilting safety pins/fabric adhesive etc
• your lunch (tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided throughout the day)

How much is the workshop?

It is £30 for the day.
