Calling all sock yarn lovers! Come to Walther Handmade February 23 - 25 for the "Sock Hop Yarn Show" featuring hand-dyed sock yarns by Aisling Yarns. For over 20 years, Aisling Yarns have been delighting fiber enthusiasts with their rich colorways and premium Bluefaced Leicester yarns.

The Sock Hop is one weekend only - from February 23 -25, so mark your calendars and save your pennies! The show will feature only sock yarns, both in variegated colorways and tweeds. We'll also have a selection of sock sets that include a free sock pattern!
Christa, the dyer behind Aisling Yarns is a trained artist who brings her sense of color, design, and method to every skein of yarn. When not dyeing, Christa and her husband spend much of the year on the road, selling their luxury hand-dyed yarns at fiber festivals all over the eastern half of the United States. We are so excited to welcome their one-of-a-kind hand-dyed yarns into our little corner of the world!
Aisling Yarns specializes in Bluefaced Leicesters yarns, sourced from small mills in England. BFL yarns are known for their beautiful luster and superior drape. Because of a longer staple length, BFL does not need to be combined with nylon for the purpose of sock yarn. This means that knitters and crocheters can enjoy next-to-skin softness with a completely natural fiber. This quintessentially British yarn is known to be both strong and soft - perfect for socks!
This Yarn Show will be one weekend only, February 23 - 25. We will have special hours that weekend, to make sure everyone gets a chance to shop these wonderful yarns:
Friday: 10AM - 5PM
Saturday: 9AM - 4PM
Sunday: 12PM - 4PM
