Service Description

Well-prepared lessons and teaching sequences are at the heart of great teaching. Teachers spend many hours planning for their time in the classroom with the children but it can often feel like there isn't enough time to plan everything well. To ensure both good teacher wellbeing and excellent teaching, efficiency in planning is key. During Aidan's time as a leader in schools he has prioritised co-planning, always making time to attend weekly and termly planning meetings to provide support to teachers. He has been able to model the planning process, working with staff to create meaningful sequences of lessons that really get to the bottom of what needs teaching and in what order, breaking the learning down into teachable and learnable steps. During a planning day Aidan will work collaboratively with the teacher(s) of a year group or phase, focusing on the process of planning teaching sequences and co-producing planning documentation and teaching resources. The planning day can be split between two year groups/phases and can focus on any area of the curriculum. To book a planning day, please use the 'request to book' button above.
