What is it?

This yoga class is adjusted in a special way so that the expecting mom can practice yoga safely and comfortably through the entire pregnancy and develop awareness over her changing body. The fundamental elements of this class are adjusted physical asanas, breathing techniques and deep relaxation through meditations and visualisations. The physical asanas in prenatal yoga are very practical. They help to alleviate pregnancy ailments such as lower back pain, tightness in the chest, pelvic instability and swollen legs, and overall keep the mom-to-be in good shape. Breathing techniques help throughout the pregnancy when the space in the chest is getting tighter and breathing is becoming more difficult. All breathing technique that you are about to learn in this class will help you on the big day when you bring your baby into this world. Visualisations and meditations help to establish the profound connection with the life growing inside of you, reduce anxiety, promote deep relaxation and help to prepare for the labour. We recommend to wait until the end of the first trimester (12 weeks) and get a green light from your midwife before joining this class or starting any other new physical activity.
