THE TRIP IS CONDUCTED WITH MINIMUM OF 2 ( TWO) PARTICIPANTS The Village Labuhan Burung Village is a coastal village on the island of Sumbawa Island. Some interesting facts about people at Labuhan Burung village they have 5 ( Five ) sub-ethnic diversity ; Makassar, Bugis, Bajo, Sumbawa , Sasak and other ethnic groups. And they are able to communicate in their daily life with multiple languages. Your Host The host for this experience is Mr. Askar DG KAMIS who is originally from Labuhan Burung village . He has been in the hospitality & travel industry since 1992. DAY I Meeting point will be at parking area of Islamic Center Mataram and you should be there at 13:30 hrs ( Local time ). The trip to Labuhan Burung will be up to 7 hours. After dinner, we will have a session to know each other with the community. Your accommodation will be at the house of Villager and it is a private room with fan. One person one room to distribute the benefit to more villagers. DAY II After breakfast, we go to a small island called Gili Keramat by boat ( 1 hour ) for Bakalili where the community will show you how the villager do their daily activities to find sea snails, fish, crabs, sea cucumbers, clams and others. After back from Gili Keramat, in the late afternoon, you might want to try to take a bath at an open communal well where people in the village . Notes : * The timing of the activity might change based on high and low tide schedule DAY III After breakfast we will take you to Mangrove Center and have a look at the mangrove plantation and then you might want to plant your own mangrove as we are concerned about sustainable and responsible tourism. You will be taken to a Gussung – a small sandbank in the middle of ocean with white sandy surrounding with its sea urchins, star fish, and small colorful fish. Then, lunch time at the village. Check out and head to Lombok.
